“ It was our first time at Mr B's in Mequon. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a 5 star experience! The food was amazing. We enjoyed an appetizer of haystack shredded onions followed by the 8oz filet. It was done perfectly to medium rare and you could cut it with a butter knife. The mushroom and onion topping were a great added flavor. We finished with hot apple crisp with gelato topping. Our server, Sabrina, provided us an enjoyable evening. The ambiance was wonderful, a great place to visit for any special occasion! ”

“ Classic Steak and Seafood Restaurant with a high quality atmosphere nestled along the river in Mequon. We shared the Ribeye entree together, enjoyed a fresh and well presented house salad, and also shared an appetizer of lightly fried clam strips that were suprisingly delicious. We topped off the dinner with the Key Lime Parfait for desert which a nice slightly tart flavored treat to end the evening. Overall, everything is prepared and presented as one would expect in a place of this type. We likely will be repeat visitors. ”

“ Walked in, had our reservation for 845pm, but they seated us like 20 minutes earlier, which was Great!! The place was sooooo clean and comfortable. Our waitress Dina was topnotch, she was very attentive and sweet. She even brought a bowl of some really delicious sherbet with a candle, while singing Happy Birthday to my wife. The food was amazing, I had a 16oz NY steak and these bacon infused potatoes that were so mouth watering good!! The steak was made perfect and I dam near licked my plate clean. My wife had this steak burger that was huge, but she tackled it and handled it with no problem. Our drinks were good and they have a Full bar with practically everything you can imagine in it. I recommend this place and I'm definitely going back again. You can't ask for better service from an establishment. Thanks again Mr. B's ”

“ The food here is delicious. There's attention to detail with care given to everything on the plates. My salmon was exactly as I like it, pink inside but seared outside. The asparagus was fully cooked but al dente. The menu selections are varied, but I suspect less than adequate for vegan or gluten free dinners. "Steakhouse" is likely an adequate clue. With 10 at our table, we had great service that was attentive and unobtrusive -- not an easy balance in my experience. In a smaller side dining area, we enjoyed some greater sense of being a party, too. Why not a 5 star? The place itself and the 1950's supper club vibe with no irony or nostalgia intended. All the starched linen and uniformed wait staff really emphasizes status in a way that seems out of step. Then, in a completely different way, the entrance and common spaces feel ignored, untouched, even a little in need of a good cleaning. ”
